. Soulmate AU . At the age of 13 some words appear on your wrist which is what the first thing your soulmate will say to you. Some people devote their lives to find them, others don't. Some people even hate their soulmates. How will this work out for Dabi, who's entire existence is because of his hatred for soulmates, and hawks, the man to fast for his own good. It may have some smut, I'm not sure. It'll mostly be fluff and maybe some angst, at least if it means what i think it means. And no, I don't mean dirty I mean like, I dunno touchy-feely arguments and stuff, I'm new to writing. This is my first story so it's going to be bad. Also manga spoilers so if you wish to read the manga first or wait for the anime I don't recommend. I mean, I don't recommend in general but, you do you. This is my first story so it's probably really bad.. hehe 🙃 I will rewrite it some day. Also don't expect many updates because school gets in the way a lot, especially because we have swimming now, that and writers block, and art block, and procrastination and... you get the idea. The number two hero, Hawks, may seem like your typical hero. Fighting crime and helping the world. But underneath, he wants it to burn. He spies for the biggest group of villains, L.O.V. After a bit of working for L.O.V., he finds something. One of the villains is a total lovebird hidden under tough and angry skin, and this red-feathered lovebird strikes a nerve that reveals the hidden side of him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this AU, Hawks is a little bit of a psychopath. He loves death and causing mayhem. He's Toga 2.0, but male and a little different. His feathers can sense stuff when they aren't connected to him. The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. I nodded and tucked one strand of his hair behind his ear. I didn't even think about what I was doing. I wasn't scared to embarrass myself anymore. I wasn't even thinking about anything anymore. Nothing surrounding us mattered. My brother could come running towards us standing in flames and I'd still need to be slapped some sense into before I would react. Hawk's smile grew a bit, but stayed soft. "If I become a pro hero, you'll be one too. Let's... be heroes together. Like a duo or something... Like partners. You have crimson hair and I have crimson wings. It would fit so well." I smiled brighter at him. The thought of growing up and becoming heroes with him made me so happy. - But things can change so fast. Someone can become a completely new person in only a few years.
