Amaya is, to put it shortly, a very troubled girl.

From dealing with the more experienced Anbu members' taunting, to her strict father who's obsessed with the revival of their no-longer-in-existence clan, to her kekkei genkai that poses a very dangerous threat to everyone who's around her, and not to mention her old genin team's insistence upon being a part of that "everyone".

And that's not even the half of it.

To top off all of the above, Lady Tsunade gives her the worst, most insulting mission possible: to catch a bandit that's been raiding local shops. What is she? A genin? And as if that's not enough she's forced to babysit him once she's caught him too! His name's Kohaku, and he's a cocky, annoying, cynical, flirt/thief/liar.

Oh what fun.
