The first time luke and carrie meet its at a secluded hotel due to a mix up of rooms.She's pretty,smart and down to earth.They take a romantic stroll down the beach and end up jumping waves and getting totally soaked. Even his friends think their the perfect couple. Seems like the perfect cliche beginning to the perfect cliche story,right?
Wrong. luke works in a department of witsec that protects important criminals who have committed extreme crimes, but cant be put behind bars due to lack of evidence.Due to the dangerous nature of his job he knows he can't be with carrie once they leave the hotel. But fate works in funny ways. Now a week after returning he has a new mission-hes protecting carrie.And not just him, but his entire team.She has about 2dozen charges against her and its just a matter of time before enough evidence is collected and shes put away for life.Sweet innocent carrie seems to already be a part of his dangerous life, so maybe they can make it work?
but the next time they meets carrie's cold,stand off-ish and behaves like a spoiled brat.luke now has a decision to make.
she is obviously not the perfect girl he thought she was,but is she really the monster she makes everybody believe she is?
And what dark secrets have brought her to WITSEC? With her trial drawing nearer and her life hanging in the balance can luke save carrie or is it too late?
