Life is coming to a halt after the world has gone through catastrophic events. Earth's atmospheric change has sent a brain wave deficiency to everyone on Earth, unless you are immune. With this in mind, zombies have arisen from the depths of humanity, known as the Manglers. MUN is attempting to gather groups of what humanity has left, to put through tests and trials to be transferred to the New World. If unable to complete the tests or trials, the person will be left for dead on the deteriorating Earth. Who will face the New World?

The bombs hit in 2021, it not only decimating the population, but destroying cities and miles of landscape surrounding them. He is at least somewhat aware of us, the reader, and acknowledges us often, that's why he takes explains things with oddly, making a comment or two about how he should've known you wouldn't know that thing.
