The Rift (Between The Dead and The Living)

Hunter Landsman, a 12-year-old boy with a love of creepy objects, decides that for his 13th birthday that he will venture into an old, abandoned school before it is taken down by a developer. While in there, he finds a strangely large library and pulls out a random book, just for the fun of it.
Of course, after looking up from the book due to boredom, he WAS able to see spirits.
Of course, it had to be THE book, that may or may not have trapped him between the world of the dead and the living.
Of course, the book HAD to be cursed.
And, of course, it HAD to be called: The Rift.
