A short story about merfolk taking over the earth while the youngest of the group, Blu, a female mermaid lives deep within the sea with her grandma. Her life is boring and in despair until she accidentally went to up to the surface and coincidently met a human named Gonzalo. (I don't know if I should continue this story as I don't have much encouragement to, but if I see that this story's getting a lot of attention and support, I'd love to!)

Choices Affect Everyone COMPLETE
Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. "Careful human." The...thing said in a concerned voice. "W-What are you, what d-do you want?" I shakily asked him, curling up my body protecting myself. "Shh human don't be afraid. You are my mate." It was a deep teal green colour with gold and blue blended in with it that reminded me of his eyes. I asked slowly, my heartbeat had almost reduced to normal again but I was feeling a strange pull towards the creature in front of me. "I am a Merman and you are my mate." His voice was deep and sounded like music the way he spoke. But mate? "Mate?" I asked hoping to find out the way in which he directed this word. "My love," he paused looking into my hazel eyes. I'm writing a book about sirens and merpeople (yes, different things) and want opinions as I go along with the story and some support so I can continue writing! Sophia is part of the crew on the Major after hearing rumours the captain decided she has to die But as she was drowning she found a new power within her an turns into a siren Follow Sophia and her, later found, best friend Lucy on their adventures while discovering more and more of Sophia's powers. And I smell a romance between the friends blossoming And I have already written their get together scene so that is a promise I intend to keep ;) It's gonna be rated Mature when I post that scene, but until then it's off And that scene doesn't really hold any plot so you can skip it (I'll put a warning before and tell you when it's over though)

This is a story about an under water city called Undersea. It is not a particularly magical place this city, in the way we might expect an under water city to be (with mermaids, talking fish, and so forth) but is instead an everyday sort of place that we might be used to. Except that it is under water. In this story we meet an everyday sort of girl named Sarah, watch her grow, and witness the choices she must make. For in reality this is a story about how certain thoughts and ideas will come to certain conclusions, horrendous as they might be in the end. But here we are getting quite ahead of ourselves.
