"Take care of her please. Don't let anyone hurt her." Eyeing Taylor who nodded. Then they grabbed each other hands and walked off after Taylor hugged Jason. He whispered something in Jason's ear. Then they were gone and we were all alone.
" Okay so we're gonna let them go first and get far from us then we'll head out." He then realized I was crying.
" Oh my gosh are you okay?? What's wrong?" He freaked.
" Nothing" Wiping away the tears. "Let's just get going. I feel like I'm being watched." Looking all around and that's when we realized all to late that we were being watched and we could do nothing about it at the time.
"Get down Jess." Jason pushed me over as the gunshots started firing from all directions. "Run!"

I don't know how long I stayed there, kneeling to the ground and staring at my parents' corpses. Their blood stained most of my body as I rubbed my face trying to get it off. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice the drops of blood on the ground, not knowing if those were from my tears or injuries. The others have managed to distract them enough from hurting me, but I can't seem to get up and leave my parents alone. I hiccup as I look over to where the monsters that killed my parents are standing. My heart drops and my eyes widen as I see a familiar little girl with strawberry blonde hair being restrained. "W-What are you doing?!". I feel the panic settle in again. "LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!". I whisper a 'no' as someone holds me back and I cry out as I feel the pain shoot up my arm from the strong hold. I try to see through my tears but can't tell who the guy is. I look over to my sister and notice they were holding another boy with us. The guard behind me sighs, and goosebumps run over my arms as he takes me over to what seems their leader before they start whispering. They both nod to each other before they start approaching us. The last thing I remember was the boy yelling "NO!" before darkness took me out.

"Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
