Monsters And Myths

There are two different meanings to the word "Monster". One being an imaginary creature which produces fear or physical harm by its appearance or actions, or a person who does very cruel and evil acts. The latter is a lot more existant than the first definition. But in Temperence Maddox's case, she has both types to worry about. When she encounters her first run-in with a creature, she is determined and persistent to learn about all the others that lurk in the night. Six months later, after her first rendezvous with her first monster, she has discovered seven more, and counting. A past that wasn't even hers catches up to her and destroys her life completely, and in steps the handsome and mysterious Lucifer Evernight. He's confusing, has a short temper, has to many secrets to count, and comes with a bunch of other problems nobody but himself knows. He also brings along his two only friends, Nixton Romonav and Lorenzo Blain. The group bonds to fix each other's problems. Only Temperence's is a lot more to handle than any of them expected.
