Rayn's a smart and rational girl. But sometimes, even smart girls end up in the middle of a white sand desert at night after someone had tried to kidnap them. It doesn't help when the smart girl in question is requested to work at a top secret research facility with hazy purposes, where her defunct mother had. And what if the desert isn't as desert as people reasonably thought? Of course, Rayn had heard stories about strange people living in the White Dunes desert, but she had refused to believe them. However, she can't ignore their existence anymore when she comes across Kehn.
