The Blackbourne team didn't take the Ashley waters mission. Instead, they took one in New York, one that tested the bonds they had formed, one that stretched them to their limits.... And found them found lacking, the stress of the job sending them all different directions.

Owen feels he failed, and is a lone dog training Academy recruits in Weapons and body language.

Sean quit, though he still dabbles in the Academy now and again, and owns his own practice in Charleston.

Silas and North do jobs internationally, occasionally stopping back in America to see Uncle or do a job in the states.

Victor, Kota, and Nathan are their own team. They stayed in New York, working there and building a name for themselves.

Luke and Gabriel went to California, doing odd jobs that mostly involve espianoge and staying to themselves.

Sang.... well, she was found by Roberts when she was seventeen. She was on her own, on the streets, sent there after her dad's new play thing found her in the motel she'd been hidden away like a dirty secret and demanded he throw her out, not wanting to share attention. She spent a year being trained, finding out she's a ghost bird, and went out on her own to help with missions around the country. Never the same name, never the same town, never the same team. What happens when five of these places stick to her? When men from different states steal pieces of her heart?

Doctor Roberts has had enough. He sees how broken his adopted daughter is, and he knows what missions have made her close off even more. He knows something happened, and he suspects what it could be. What happens when he decides to pull some strings?
Something has to give, or is it already shattered beyond repair?

Edit: this book has a LOT of sexy times...... be warned. I'm thinking rewriting it with more plot less sex. Or doing a second book with more of both. Depends on audience. Original (this) Will stay up.

{Completed} A lost soul in a sea of anguish and confusion, Sang floats alone, and the treacherous waters around her are starting to consume her; she's beginning to sink. In fact, she's been slowly sinking further and further into those dark depths since she was a child--ever since the abuse began. Ever since her voice was stolen by her stepmother-a jealous, envious woman who wanted what Sang Sorenson had-what the evil woman hadn't: a voice like an angel. Sang's voice is gone, the only thing she ever truly cherished. And she's starting to drown in the waters that have been rising rampantly inside her chest, but can she be saved? Is there hope for a rescue boat? Can a group of nine handsome, loving, charismatic boys be the reason Sang Sorenson rises to the surface? Will they be her life jacket, or an anchor to drag her further into the profound depths below? Can the bird without a voice finally sing once again? ❤ This is an Academy fanfic. I don't own any of these characters. They are all creations of the amazing C.L. Stone, and they all belong to her. Though, you don't have to read 'The Academy' series to understand this book. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. ❤ Warning! Be warned, there is mature content in this book (i.e. most likely sexual content, swearing, and abuse). So, if you're uncomfortable with that, then don't read this. Also, this book will get worse before it gets better. (It starts off pretty sad.) But there is a happy ending and LOTS of love! 😉😁
British Bird - Complete by BelindaPeters-Waine
56 parts Complete Mature
British Bird After being removed from her parents care at the age of six, Sang experienced foster care after foster care until she ended up with the best people she could ever have hoped for in her life; Johnny & Cara Taylor. Eighteen months, that's how long thirteen year old Sang had with Johnny and Cara. They became the best eighteen months of Sang's life but just three weeks out of those eighteen months she'll treasure forever, close to her heart. The three weeks she spent in America where she met Academy boys: Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke, North, Sean and Owen were the best three weeks of her life. The darkness wasn't so dark, the smiles weren't so fake and the laughter was real. But most of all, she experienced a love no like other; she gave them her heart. Only to have it broken when she's removed from Johnny and Cara's care, loosing all contact with the boys. Now six years later, it's Sang against the world. She continues to walk the streets of London, living in her run down flat and trying to follow a dream of someday helping children that were just like her. Her smiles were forced, her laugh wasn't real. She was simply just existing. Until the boys show up out of nowhere, turning her world upside down. Stubborn and heart broken, Sang gives them cold shoulder but they don't take the hint and they do what Academy boys do best: They try and make it all better. Forgiveness is something Sang eventually gives the boys, but is she able to hand back over the shattered pieces of her heart? Can she learn to trust them again? Experience Sang and the boys in a whole new adventure where hearts are on the line and happiness is just out of reach.
