A girl was ripped from all life as she knew it at a young age after the hunters wrecked havoc down on her town and killed everyone. Everyone except her that is, but even after managing to escape she is not left unscathed and the injury she is dealt cost her something of the most important, her voice.
After two years of running, she herself is captured, enslaved and thrust into a world of terrors.
Now a young lady after years of abuse, Lumi has given up. Any hope she once had is gone. The faith she once held was lost long ago. Lumi is a broken soul beyond repair.
Then, one fateful day, she is saved from the hunters by the hybrid captain of the guard and his small team of high ranked elites.
From there, she is taken back to the castle and set before the king. Her life is spared, but Lumi, abused, broken, taunted, used, and voiceless, doesn't know how she can possibly go on.
And to make matters worse, she's just a human in the world of vampires, werewolves, and most importantly, the dreamers, in which she's been thrust. Or so she thought.
Untrusting, mute, and unable to forget, Lumi is trapped.

She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
