2 years ago a chaotic disease broke out among humanity, causing aggressive bursts and infection among people. We call this disease IT. People who escaped IT went into hiding, not wanting to be infected or bitten...yes bitten, people with this disease hungered for human flesh. Everybody was either alone or an IT. There was no hero's going around saving the day, just scared people not wanting to die. My name is Lizzie, I'm 16 years old, and I'm a survivor, along with my friends Maria and Nick....and this is my story.

But they weren't the same, they killed and ate anything that moved. The government decided to bomb the cities most infected to slow the spread, but that just made things so much worse. That's not what I fear though, what I fear most is the people who are left. The people we were are gone, and people will do anything it takes to survive.. if there is one thing I would tell the old me it's fight the dead... but fear the living.
