Mason returns home to escape his past, but familiar faces return, and new threats arrive in town. Keeping an eye on the enemy, he struggles to avoid getting involved any more than he should. But, when their paths cross, they learn not everything is black and white, and the people you least suspect could be your enemy. ------ 'This is a dumb idea' she thought to herself. Slowly she began reaching her hand towards the animal, feeling compelled to touch it. Would it be as soft as it looked? Did it want her to touch it? The rain continued pelting them, but it felt like its eyes were drawing her into another space, where nothing else mattered. The sudden desire to be closer to this animal was beginning to overtake her mind, especially as her hand neared its head. The whole time the animal only watched her with those large eyes. She imagined it almost asking for her touch. It didn't cross her mind how she knew he'd be soft, or how she even knew the creature was a 'he' to begin with. As her finger just barely grazed the animal, multiples things happened. She felt something shock her causing her to pull her hand back, just as thunder and lightning sounded. When the light cleared the animals' eyes, were narrowed into slits, and it was growling. It was a deep menacing sound that sent her stumbling backward, heart wildly beating. It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened. "Goddess, you're so perfect." he breathed the words, staring up at her as she moved rhythmically up and down above him, her breasts bouncing as he gripped her hips, trying to hold back the wave that he felt building inside of him. She just looked and felt so fucking good. "Do female wolves mark their mates?" She leaned forward as she asked the question in a low voice, sliding her arms along his chest as she shifted her position, moving her legs close together so that he was even tighter inside of her as his hands came down to grip her ass, thrusting into her from below. "Yes." he was barely able to gasp out the word. "Not in my pack. But in many- most even- other packs." "Why not yours?" He felt her mouth slip forward, her tongue teasing the same place he had marked on her body half an hour earlier. "The men in our pack just haven't allowed it. It's a sign of claiming and-" her teeth grazed the spot lightly, not hard enough to break the skin, but he felt a mixture of pleasure and pain shoot through his body and he drew in a sharp breath, his head tilting back automatically as he offered her better access to the spot. "It shows that you belong to your mate. Doesn't it? Like I belong to you?" "Yes." He murmured, gripping her more tightly, so close to the edge he knew he'd lose control at any moment. He only hoped he could bring her to the peak of pleasure again first. He'd thought she was close. "Nova." He knew his voice sounded desperate. "Can I mark you, Alpha?" ---------------------------------- When Nova stumbles into pack lands and is captured by the Blazing Moon pack she knows that she has to escape. She makes a daring escape only to be tracked down by their Alpha. But their meeting isn't at all what either or them expected. Can he convince her to stay? Or will a petite female rogue be the one to bring down one of the fiercest Alpha's on the continent? ⚠️THIS STORY HAS EXPLICIT SCENES AND MATURE CONTENT. IT IS NOT ADVISED FOR THOSE YOUNGER THAN 18

It must have been unbelievable to her that the guy she saved in the woods is a werewolf, a fairy tale she didn't believe in and totally crazy that she was his mate. She tried to kick it off but can she really run from a destiny that fate brought together. ************************ "Yes I'm werewolf." "I know." I didn't look him in the eye I am afraid of looking into those golden eyes. "I killed that boy but I was angry, they slapped you and they shot me." "Why did you follow me." "I couldn't stay away from you, I wanted you, your scent and to see your face all day." I looked into his eyes now and caught a faint glow in them.
