What if Batman never came?

Dick Grayson has hardened his heart from his time spent in an awful orphanage, after the death of his parents.

No one came to save him them and no one will save him now. He never became "Robin," the sidekick to Batman, but what if he is finally given a chance for a better life?

After hacking into some small government files, he is offered a spot into Gotham academy, with the condition that he behave. Of course he doesn't behave, and is left to deal with Bruce Wayne, a big shot "Money loaner" to the academy.
