"A little girl like you shouldn't be out this late" the heat of his breath landed on my neck raking goosebumps up my spine partially freezing me in place, my previous activities forgotten amidst his appearance.

"Who says I'm alone" I asked cringing at the slight stutter in my voice for taking the cliche girly advance.

"I don't see a collar on your neck, now do we...little one?" his coarse hand wrapped around the back of my neck lightly feathering over the skin of my throat.

I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Words! little girl, I asked you a question didn't I?" His grip tightened as his voice dropped several octaves .

"Ye- yes I mean no ...uh!" tongue tied with my anxiety rising I tried pausing to control my breath.
"I mean yes you asked me a question b-but no I don't have an owner sir" my eyes were trained to the brown spots of mud on my black Mary Janes.

His hand curled around my waist turning me to him gently but effectively gripping my chin to make me keep eye contact. I froze in place of the same gray eyes that were always in Congress parliamentary meetings.

"Senator Diaducci" my breath hitched. What was he doing here?.

"you will now and forevermore address me as Daddy, angel" a smile pulled at his lips, I almost thought I was safe until the darkness started pressing in.
