Pain of memories - Volume 1 (eng)

15 parts Ongoing

Painful memories are like specters tormenting our existence. To face it, we must sometimes make a clean slate of our past and learn to live in the present moment. Unfortunately, it is not an option for Ishizora, who is suffering from amnesia after a fall in the forest. For him, the only thing that still gives a meaning to his life is a familiar voice that urges him to become stronger. Alone and left to fend for himself in the vast territory of Historia, renowned for its omnipresent wilderness and respect for traditions, he will encounter a young girl who will save his life using a mysterious power. During his quest for information to better understand his world, he will learn about the existence of "Geikas" - groups of people passing down ancestral knowledge from generation to generation. This is how the young Natsuki, met in town, will introduce him to the Shinzu Geika, a reclusive Geika that lives self-sufficiently in the forest. He will make new friends in this loving home and gradually adapt to his new way of life, but how long will these carefree days last? The Shinzuites seems to face their own threats... Where will his blind quest for strength lead him? Will the specters of the past ultimately prevail over the present? Profound truths and a terrible drama weigh on his future.
