Giving Her Away

Adam Stone spent the twenty five years he has lived on this planet slowly falling in love with Charlie Thomas. Growing up together, he didn't notice until she fell hard for her boyfriend Garrett and danced around his living room gushing about him. Every word she said was like a knife to his heart but for her sake he kept quiet and painted a smile on his face.

But when Garrett proposes Adam is faced with the prospect of losing her forever as Charlie's fiance gets a job offer across the world in Australia. Adam is caught between his feelings and Charlie's doting eyes at Garrett. Should he be selfish and tell Charlie how he feels? Or keep quiet for and loose her forever?

A short story written in third person. Chapters will alternate between the present and Charlie and Adam's past but will be stated in the chapter title what is what.
