Lexi was only seven when her mum died, leaving her alone with her father. It didn't take long for her dad to turn to drink, over the years he became abusive towards Lexi. At 16 she finally runs away after her father threatens to finish her off after beating her to a pulp. Found unconscious in the forest by Ryan; a werewolf and her mate. As Lexi finally begins to feel loved and like she belongs somewhere her father comes back. Will he take her back like he promised? Or will Ryan stick to his promise and never let anyone hurt Lexi again?
