Loki looks at me helplessly, caught between his agony and his anger. "There is nothing left to fight for." He spits, leaning his head back against the wall. I do not miss the tears forming in his green eyes. I can feel Thor pace behind me, but I ignore him.

"There is always something to fight for." I tell Loki quietly.

"Like what?" He retorts, glaring. "Shall I fight for you? Would that satisfy you?!"

I simply give him a soft, sad smile. "It would be a start."

The ancient-most story of soul mates dates back to well over 5,000 years with Egyptian mythology. Isis and Osiris were made for each other from the womb, and personify a love that can overcome even death itself- by the hands a jealous brother, no less.

All her life, Brita has struggled with her own identity. Born on Alfheim as a Light Elf but raised on Asgard with her mother serving in Odin's court, she has never felt like she has belonged anywhere. She hides every unique part of herself with simple magic because that is all she has ever known. Forever set apart from her own people by being named one of the Aesir, an elite goddess among the Nine Realms, Brita finds herself losing ground in a battle within her own mind.

The only one who can even understand any part of her life is Loki, youngest prince of Odin. Like two pieces of a puzzle, they have fit together from the start- as mischief, mystery, lies, and truth often do. Yet even what seems to be written in the stars can be concealed by clouds. As tragedy strikes at the heart of Asgard, can the young goddess of mystery and god of mischief find it within themselves to stand, worlds apart and hearts broken in two, together?

"Someday, love will find you,
Break those chains that bind you.
One night will remind you
How we touched and went our separate ways.
If he ever hurts you,
True love won't desert you..."

A tale sought to be as old as time. A story told around a campfire as the children eagerly leaned in, hungry for the next plot. The story of young gods that commanded the winds and tides, that wove your fate and destiny; gods that rode into battle on the backs of mighty steads, axe in hand, and shield in the other. A story of thunder and lightning, and snakes that writhed through tall grass. A story of love. Asgard and Vanaheim. Two sister realms of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Both realms raged war for centuries over a long forgotten matter. Thousands killed, cities laid to waste. From this war, Freya and Iwaldi, rulers of Vanaheim, strike a truce with the All-Father Odin in attempt to finally bring everlasting peace through the Nine Realms. Sigyn, Princess of Vanaheim, and Thor, Son of Odin, are arranged to marry for the sake of their realms. Neither of them want it. Neither of them love each other. The young God of Mischief, however, brews himself a plan. But, with all the bad luck in the nine realms, Loki falls for the young Princess. Young love blossoms like a flower from its bud. Both families are against it and try everything in their power to keep them apart. It's not an ideal match. The silver-tongued Prince cannot be trusted to keep everlasting peace. Whether it be The Norns, nothing can keep them apart in the end. Until a terrible tragedy bestows them and Loki falls from Asgard. (Based on Norse Mythology.)

Loki was banished from Asgard and was banished to live on earth as a midgardian. Although his powers were taking away, Odin couldn't leave his son with nothing. He gave Loki endless amounts of money, a mansion, his expensive cars, and all the time in the world, but he would never be allowed into Asgard or any other realms again. This was his punishment for the unforgivable crimes he had committed against Asgard and against the family Odinson. Although Loki grew very comfortable in his new lifestyle on Midgard, he soon became bored. His playboy life style wasn't fulfilling anymore. While there was a party going on at his mansion, Loki needed to get away from it all. He needed to escape the hoards of woman after him, somehow no one would leave the party, so he did. He snuck out of his own party and began to drive his favorite car, a dark grey jaguar. He drove for many miles, passing countless states and even drove into the changing seasons. He soon found himself lost on a dirt road covered in snow. His car broke down and night was upon him. With nowhere to go and no one to help him Loki sat in his car shivering, from the bitter cold. Just as he was giving up he saw a faint light shining from within the forest. He decided to investigate. Maybe it was a nearby house or someone could help him out of the bitter cold. As he walked deeper into the woods, he came around a bend and a clearing in the middle of the forest. There was a large Iridescent bubble. Within it was unaffected by the snow. He walked up to it but there was a force field protecting this closed off world. Soon he saw a woman with large white wings flittering and floating about with in the bubble. She saw Loki and grew scared. She flittered away behind a tree as Loki tried to get her to come out. A conversation ensued and they quickly became friends. Aziza was trapped within the bubble, and could not escape, how could he help her escape and why was she there to begin with. Find out in this story!

||Book 1 of the Worthy Series|| |Set pre and during the first Thor movie| ||I own nothing of the MCU or the comic books characters or places, but I own everything else in this book, such as plotlines and oc scenes|| Odin the great All-Father of Asgard and the Protector of the Nine Realms, he was getting on in years and he knew it. He had two options for whom to declare as his heir and successor, but he asked just one other person... one warrior first and just before. Lady Drina hates being referred to as "Lady", when she is the daughter of Týr the God of Justice, single combat, and honor. Her title, is the Lady goddess of honorable combat and justice, although she is more often referred to by her title that everybody believes is self-imposed. Drina is known as the Defender of Odinsons, the two sons of Odin, Loki and Thor. Her older brother is Conor, the god of one on one combat, he would have you believe. Despite the fact of the matter, that his sibling continually bests him in all forms of combat, except for archery. Drina has only known one person who ever refused to refer to her by her rather bothersome and limiting title of 'Lady', since he was the only one who ever bothered to listen. Loki was the only one who listened, when even Conor shut her out of his life, following along a bit too eagerly with all of the rest. And in return, she refuses to accept that he was lying all of those years about who he was, and who she saw him as. "You are Loki, the Son of Odin." Drina said gently and she moved to step forward, despite negative emotions coming from every fiber of his being. "NO! No, I am not!!" Loki shouted and Drina took the smallest of steps back, which quieted him down and he looked out of the window opposite Drina. "If you are not Loki of Asgard, if you are not the boy that I grew up fighting alongside now, then who are you?" She asked softly. She stared into blood-red eyes and icy blue skin, as she shakes her head. "You are still Loki. I know it.

But in her attempt to fix the portal, she only shatters it beyond repair, sealing her fate in the realm of gods. But Thor, ever the honorable warrior, takes her under his protection, offering her sanctuary despite the disapproval of his people. She finds solace in his kindness, his unwavering sense of duty, and the effortless way they seem to understand each other. Yet Thor is a future king, bound by expectation to marry a noble Asgardian woman-not a girl from Midgard. Then there is Loki. The dark, silver-tongued trickster, an outcast in his own land, sees in her a reflection of himself-someone unwanted, someone different. He is the first to treat her not as an intruder, but as an equal, drawing her into his world of whispered secrets and forbidden magic. She knows she shouldn't fall for him, not when his mischief turns to cruelty, not when the darkness within him begins to unfold. And yet, she can't seem to stay away. Torn between two gods, she must choose: the light of Thor, whose duty to Asgard threatens to pull them apart, or the shadow of Loki, whose desire for power may consume them both. But as political tensions rise and enemies lurk in the corners of Asgard, one thing becomes clear-the gods may be immortal, but love is just as dangerous as war. Who will you choose, reader?

POST, or really Mid- TVA Loki Adventure: __Somehow, at the edges of the universe, there was a small planet that was beyond the reach of the sacred timeline. A world with its own rules that existed in spite of the time keepers. It was calling to him and Loki felt it. Now that he had found a way to hide between the spaces, between timelines and their variants, he could hear its call loud and clear. "Well alright," His crooked smile teased the corners of his mouth, "I'm coming."___ ******* FULL DISCLOSURE: As I write this, I have only seen 2 episodes of Loki on Disney+ and this was started, in my head, a few weeks before Loki came out. So, whatever happens in the show at this point going forward, will probably have no bearing on this story. I did adopt a fun fan theory on the show that I would like to see so you may see some more of that in the future. I do not own this character or any plot lines that may overlap with Marvel. **** show spoiler- the fan theory was right, so that's fun, I also seemed to accidentally predict classic Loki's escapades. HI! I am one of those people who has to write a fantasy story in her head to fall asleep. I was out of ideas and needed something quick one night so I ran through a list of fantasy men and women and settled on Loki. This was started as a vague picture show in my head with no real outline or direction. Then the Loki show came out and it gave me a bit of a direction and a plot. I let it fester so now I have to actually write it out. I am my target audience here y'all. I have to write this out because I have to know what happens. I just thought, If I am going to write it out, I might as well share it in case there is one other person out there that might enjoy it.

Lol I found this in my Microsoft Word. I wrote this a long time ago... This is a 3 chapters long story. They are very long. If they wouldn't be, then they were at least over 20 chapters (Because I always stop at 1000). The characters do not belong to me, but to Marvel. My own characters are Dani, Princess Mila, Mila's parents, Nebulus and Toronto. Enjoy reading it ! Sneak Peak.... "Hey...Loki ?" He turned around, looking at her. "Yes, Destiny ?" She fiddled nervously with her fingers. "I had fun today. I was wondering if you would like to be my friend...? We could meet more often and play that way." Loki smiled at her happily. "Of course ! I had fun today too ! I would love to be your friend ! Do you want to meet with me tomorrow at the palace ?" "Friends forever ?" "Until death do us apart." "I think we can dig me my grave this time. He is very mad..." "We went a little too far this time...", Destiny mumbled. "Show me." "No !" "Loki...We are friends. I won't leave you just because of your true heritage. You are not a Monster." "What the Hel were you thinking ?!", she yelled. "Loki...I thought we were friends..." Now Loki laughed meanly. "I never wanted you as a friend ! You and your clingy, needy self just annoyed me long enough, until I agreed ! You are filth in my eyes !" Then Mila grabbed arrow and bow, drew the bow with the arrow, aimed blindly and shot. "Yes, Loki ?" "Is Destiny with you ? She isn't at home..." As the tip almost touched Mila, and Odin wanted to scream stop, Mila stepped aside and Sigyn ran, apperently, ungracefully into a pillar. "Destiny ?", she asked unsure. "Did you ever come to the thought, that maybe she was right anyways ? That she maybe hid something from you ? Something terrible and she didn't want to stuff you full with details ?" "You mean that she just told me half of the story ?", Loki asked Odin confused. MOVED TO AO3 !!!
