All she saw on his face were frown lines, confusion etched into his features. His eyelids shut and his jaw clenched as he felt a cold shiver shoot down his spine.
There was something comforting about knowing that unlike him, she was able to see the world - she was able to see things he never would, but he found comfort in feeling things he knew she never would...
This is my entry for a writing competition from about a week ago, if you're reading this, I hope you like it!

She couldn't read him either. His face was a mirror of her own, they both we're reflections on the past. Before the world dulled their shine. It took everything of her to keep the lump out of her throat as she stared at him, everything to keep away the feelings, the memories and emotions. They both taught themselves a long time ago not to live, not to feel and to chase every emotion away by fear and hate. Sad part was it was 5 years later , 5 years of they both being a walking corpse of life, of being alive but not truely living, they both wouldve qualified for a grim reeper or death angel. And now? Wel now after being dead for 5 years their paths has crossed again and why was the question they both seeked.Complete

all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.Complete

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.Complete

The cold air stinging her tear covered cheeks. Huffing and puffing, running through the blurring by woods. The snow gently falling all around her. Every root sticking up, slowing her down. "Liiiijjjjjaaaa" That taunting voice, so low, yet so loud. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She screamed. She tripped, and rolled. Suddenly, he became closer, closer until he's over her. He grabbed her, his grip firm, and pulled her up. "GET OFF OF ME!!!!"Complete
Unwritten Bond
Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. Rasmus was shocked when he saw me and it was as if he saw a ghost. Fuck! Why did you do this to me! You said you didn't have a relationship with her but now it's clear to me! I can see it with my own two eyes that they love each other! "Sheryl." He softly said my name. He stood up causing his woman to move away from him. "Look it is not what you think.." I don't know if I was imagining it because I just saw his emotion as if he was afraid and feel sorry for me or sad. "Ras stop it! What are you talking about? We kissed didn't we? Why do you have to explain to her?!" His woman seems annoyed. Rasmus couldn't take his eyes off me and even surprised his woman when he pulled back his arm that was holding her. He slowly walked towards me. He still managed to lie in front of me?! My fists clenched. I just smiled bitterly at him before I turned and ran out of the house. I didn't look at him again and I know he followed me because I heard him calling my name. I can barely see the road I'm running to because of my blurred vision. It hurt so much! It's like I'm slowly being crushed by this disease. Why did I love someone like him and why didn't I love Tristan? He is better over him! Why is the world so unfair?! Why me?! I was deaf and I couldn't hear anything because my mind was consumed by emotions. I don't know if this road I ran is still right. I suddenly came back to my thoughts when I heard a loud beep of a car. The last thing I saw was Rasmus' shocked eyes as he ran towards me.
