Why is it that humans tend to choose saving a single life over a thousand, sometimes even over a few? 


Androids and humans live among each other in a far future. Reya has spent most of her life on the road, never staying in one place for too long. She lives in fear of the numbers on her wrist, which count down every 48 hours. To reset the clock, she has to kill a person before the numbers call zero. Because what will happen when time runs out?
