"Wait..., so you're telling me, you never had a nightmare before?" she asked bewildered.
"That is correct," he answered with an amused smirk.
"Yet, your name is Nightmare," she mused.
"Mhmm," he hummed.
"And you're the god of Nightmares and Fears," she muttered slowly, trying to figure out what he meant.
"So, how?" she asked.
"You can say I always had a problem with my nightmares," he clarified.
"Like, an error?" she questioned humorously.
"Yea," he smiled softly. "Like an Error in my Nightmares."
The two broke into soft laughter and enjoyed the stars of Outertale for the rest of the night.

Error really never cared about what Ink did and didn't do. Although, things start to get serious when Ink finds out That Error has friends, though in his case, accomplices.
It's harder when he almost found out that Blueberry (Underswap Sans) was one of them.
Error is now filled with DETERMINATION to protect the ones she love. Maybe also even fall in love with a certain goo covered mastermind while at it.

This is my first story so my apologies if it is trashier than the multiverse itself. This story is also very inspired by other people so don't flame me. qwq Error is the god of destruction, he used to be a different skeleton but Fate came and destroyed his AU and is now Error. Error cannot die no matter what because Fate won't allow it. Error is the Yin to Ink's Yang. Ink is the god of creation, he is a soulless being who cannot feel emotions, he is oblivious about the balance because he never listens to Fate which is why Fate did what they did to Error. Ink is the Yang. Ink drinks vials to feel emotions, but that one day changes. Nightmare is the god of negativity, he has a brother named Dream. The more negativity is around him the stronger he is, the more positivity there is around him the weaker he is. If he feels negative emotions from a specific person he can easily find who he is looking for. Same as Dream but dream follows the positive feelings.Complete

Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him.
