'One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain'

Lexi Wilson desperately wished that this was entirely true, and that music would solve all of her nightmares. For now, music proved a valuable distraction. Or more so, her favourite band, did.

A local band of four guys from her school provided many local girls with some sort of escape from reality, but none as much as Lexi. Their developing personas as budding rockstars allows them to hide their own personal history in the music that they provide for other desperate souls, such as themselves.

Maybe music could provide more than just an escape? Maybe it could open up doorways for all it touched, good or bad, forcing the band to face what they had been running away from all this time.
