About eighty years ago, some explosion gave about 1/5,000,000 people a mutated gene that gave future children, it works like blonde hair or blue eyes. There's schools scattered across the world, mutants get sent there and their parents didn't even know, it's a very hush hush situation. They think they send their child off to a summer school camp, but it's actually a power academy.

Shiro can clone himself, Keith has super speed and can control temperature, Pidge can create and control illusions and hallucinations, Lance has mental manipulation(mind control) and Hunk can control metal.

The ex-principal's daughter is a shapeshifter and has perfect voice manipulation. The principal now is unknown. He's there, just no one knows much about him.
