This is the story of two teenagers, Janelle Pierce and Khalil Payne who has a very unique story. They run into a lot of characters that come from backgrounds similar to their own. Some good, some bad, they have alot of learning to do while also being adults, mistakes are deemed critical and instincts are deemed faulty safety nets. Can they outrun their past while running into a better future? I would say that this is a stand alone book but like most comic books you have to read the one made before the current one to understand it. Alot of characters will be reoccurring that was in that book and will be important to the knowledge that's in this book.
