This is a VERY rough draft of a novel that I started writing years ago. Please excuse the first missing paragraph, I started out handwriting the story and then continued it in a writing app...which means that, of course, I lost the paper that I started writing it on. I'll fix all of this later (including the cover) lol
HER VOICE is a psychological thriller that features Anna, a high school senior who's been gifted with amazing singing talent but cursed with a lack of drive. The story follows the events of Anna's kidnapping that occurs soon after the most beloved guy in their graduating class is found dead by what everyone presumes was suicide. Trapped with who she can only assume is a psychotic killer, Anna will attempt to maintain her sanity and solve the mystery of her deceased classmate. 
But will her kidnapper unlock the hidden evil within her before she can put all of the pieces together?

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.
