~

"Max, come sit with me for a second, before we take off." Miles sounded distressed from the back of the jet.

I wanted to ignore him. 'Just keep stocking the galley,' I thought, 'maybe he'll forget I'm here.'

"Why? What did I do this time?" I said instead, trying to hide the nervousness in my voice. Peering out into the aisle of his jet I saw him look up at me. His finger motioned me to come where he was sitting. When I approached him he pulled me down on his lap.

With one hand he traced my jaw, with the other, he pulled out my silver 9mm from behind his back.

"What's this, love?" He asked voice steady, smooth. The gun I usually hid in my vanity drawer was used to caress my cheek.

"Have you been hiding something from me?"

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

"You were a nurse, no?" I asked her. "Now, I am a stripper." She replied with a hint of agitation in her tone. At loss of words, I stayed quiet as she turned to walk away. Even in the dark sky of light, I could make out her perfectly carved figure and with a newfound interest, I started to walk behind her. She turned around with a frown marred on her face, "Don't follow me." I grabbed the back of her head and pushed her against the wall, "What are you doing here?" Her violet eyes lit up with a fire, "I don't see how that's your business." Her voice was naturally soft but her tone was harsh. And that ticked me off. Pressing my body against hers, I answered, "You are my business, Rheannon. I own that club." I could feel the rapid rise of her breathing just before she pushed me away, "You own that club, Angelo. Not me." Saying that, she ran away. - Rheannon Aurora Pallas, an excellent nurse who have always outdone her duties, had to leave the hospital she worked at as well as the country she called home. New York City may sound like a dream but hidden in shadows are some of the most monstrous human beings. And it took Rheannon only one night to figure that out. And now that she was here, she could not leave. Not until she finds the person she's looking for. Enter Angelo Petrakis, renowned businessman in the day and a drug smuggler by the night. Oh, and did I mention that he is also the patient she once nursed and the man who owns the strip club she works at? No? Well, there's always a first time for everything. When they first met, they hated each other with a passion. But, maybe, just maybe that passion can give birth to an emotion that they both are unaware of. After all, love can be found in the most unexpected of places. --- It's a Spin-off to Sinbound & can be read as a Stand Alone.

"Get off of me!" I said to the tall man stood next to me. " Sir what should we do with her?" Suddenly a tall figure towered over me I wouldn't admit it but If I wasn't being held against my will in the middle of the street I would of found him attractive. "Get her in the car she's coming home with us" What!? No this isn't happening before I could think i elbowed the man stood holding my arm in the nose earning a groan of pain. While he was "distracted" I ran forward slapping the boss I assume across the face. "You shouldn't have done that" the boss said and I instantly blacked out. Although before I blacked out I heard a distant "your mine now princess" Oh no.
