The paladins of Voltron are too old to continue their journey. It has been 20 years and they still haven't finished off the Galra. But they have freed the majority of the planets they conquered. Keith and Lance fell in love and now have 1 son. Shiro and Allura fell in love and also have 1 son. The paladins have all agreed it is time to get new paladins for Voltron.
Voltron or any of the original paldins do not belong to me or the galra. I only made the oc's.

Voltron: Rise of the Lion Defenders
For millennia, the Galra Empire has plagued the universe by destroying civilizations and enslaving various races. The only threat to the empire is the legendary "Defender of the Universe" Voltron, a 328-foot tall robot warrior composed of five lion robots, based on their own elements, whose pilots are known as Paladins. At the crux of the war that ended with the destruction of planet Altea, King Alfor separated Voltron to protect him from falling into the evil Galra King Zarkon's possession. King Alfor sent the Voltron Lions across the universe to different locations to hide them from Emperor Zarkon. Princess Allura, Alfor's royal adviser Coran, and the Altean Castle of Lions were hidden on planet Arus along with the Black Lion. In the present, the Galra Empire's path of conquest and search for Voltron has led them to Earth's solar system. A group of space pilots-Shiro, Keith, Lana, Pidge, and Hunk-discover the Blue Lion and immediately get swept up into the Galran War. They meet Princess Allura, become the new Paladins, and reunite the five Lions to form Voltron, beginning their fight to liberate the universe from the Galra Empire. Book Cover belongs to me. Shiro escaped from the galra's clutches because of a blue eyed water and ice mage, he meets allura and coran who took him in as an exchange Shiro must fight alongside allura as a paladin Keith was orphaned at a young age until he met shiro who took care of him, but years ago Shiro was taken by the galra and Keith made it his goal to train hard and rescue Shiro, he met allura who helped Shiro and now Keith was reunited with Shiro and joined allura as her red paladin Pidge was in a state of depression when allura first saw her, her brother and father was taken by the galra and studied to rescue her family and joined allura as her green paladin. she's a genius and is able to manipulate non-living objects. Hunk wanted to become a great cook, but because of the galra's reign his dream was crushed. His family is captured by the galra and he lives with his uncle and was found by allura for his mastery in mechanics and culinary. Allura Is a princess before zarkon attacked and took over her kingdom, for 1 year she's been storing her magic to defeat zarkon and haggar in one attack, she gathered four paladins and only needs the blue paladin, once she has found all 5 paladins, she and the five paladins must search for the five lions of voltron. Coran is a master healer and has assisted allura on her mission to overthrow zarkon in order to once again reclaim her crown and rebuild the kingdom they once lost.Complete

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork.
