Maria herself was a full-blooded Saiyan, Airil owed his human heritage to his father, who was killed when Airil was born. In a fateful moment during one of their training sessions, two Saiyan guards inexplicably attacked Maria, threatening to expose their hidden existence. Overwhelmed and cornered, Maria's defenseless state triggered an intense surge of anger within young Airil. Suddenly, at the tender age of seven, Airil underwent a remarkable transformation, ascending into the legendary state of a Super Saiyan, a sight unseen among the Saiyans for over a millennium.
