No one knows how it happened, what caused it. Everyone over the age of 17 has caught some sort of disease, a disease that makes them crave blood. Casey leads her group into unknown areas. They run into trouble, they lose members, they keep moving forwards.
The adults can see you, smell you and they are searching for you, for the blood in your veins.
