After all these years, 16 years of being "dead" to him, he comes back for her help. She's not that stupid anymore, he broke her and she had to piece herself back together, shard by shard. Now, he's back and asking for her help. What fool would say yes? 16 whole years of being alone, not even a text or a call to see how she's doing and now suddenly, he arrives at her door. Everyone gets hurt in the end, it's only fair. People say, "life isn't fair", but in the end, everything has an outcome, an outcome they deserve.
