Night had its arms around me Sleep was a waning moon I whisper, " Make me happy" "I will", Night would croon And it put stars over my eyes And dreams in my head A motley of truth and lies Then away it fled. ~midnight musings A series of rhyming words stringed together find there way into my mind when I'm in the strange world between sleep and awakeness. And that's pretty much the only magic I believe in :)
