Neverwinter is a friendly city of craftsmen, who trade extensively via the great merchants of Waterdeep; their water-clocks and multi-hued lamps can be found throughout the Realms. Neverwinter gained its name from the skill of its gardeners, who contrived to keep flowers blooming throughout the months of snow -- a practice they continue with pride. Once the plague destroys the Neverwinter, heroes who trained at the Neverwinter Academy will have to defend the city. But what if all the heroes are dead? Who will save the city and who will bring back the cure for the plague?

The Forsaken Spire

17 parts Complete

A single, towering city rises from a vast, lifeless wasteland-a remnant of an ancient war that shattered the world. The Spire is surrounded by a powerful storm barrier, keeping the horrors outside at bay. It is said that beyond the storm, the land is overrun by Wraithborn-once-humans mutated into relentless, armored behemoths that feed on the energy of the living. The city's elite defenders, known as the Stormguard, wear specialized gauntlets that allow them to channel the energy of the storm itself, generating electrical blades and explosive force to combat the Wraithborn. Their training is brutal, as only those who can withstand the gauntlet's power without being consumed by it survive. When a young Stormguard recruit uncovers an ancient map hinting at a second, hidden city beyond the storm, everything they thought they knew about their world is thrown into question. Are they truly the last survivors? Or has the Spire's ruling council been keeping a terrible secret for generations?
