Mercury and Alexis against the world, making their way through life and building their own paths while relying on nobody but each other. Both young, wild and free, their characters are the complete opposites - Mercury's calculating and blunt nature contrasts with the radiating sunshine and naive optimism Lexie, creating the perfect balance needed in order to construct an unbreakable bond. Which is inevitably obligatory, considering the pressure to move around Dancouver's rentable apartments constantly thanks to a series of unfortunate events.
But what could be a better presumption to put their friendship into question than an unexpected third roommate, who happens to be the only unlikeable condition of their extraordinary new place? That happened to be the only request of the borderline-magnetic landlord, and how could a desperate young girl say no to this?

... I didn't know what to do... so I did nothing. There I was, sprawled onto the ground. Just looking at the sky. Wishing... praying... pleading that it would lift me up and take me far away. It seems everywhere she goes there's trouble lurking around the corner. There's no escape, and no entrance, it only is.
