The world just can't seem to get over putting people in boxes and deciding that one of them is better than the other. Today, the world is separated into two groups.

The Worthy, and the Invalid.

Kendle Brooks is part of the latter.
Living life as an Invalid isn't easy, but she gets through it okay. That is, until she comes into the possession of a certain Worthy known as Tyler Renolds as the world is thrown into chaos when the Invalid population decides that it has had enough.

With rebellions happening left and right, the crime rate rising, and the world turning to war, how can anyone remain neutral? How can anyone escape the bloodshed? And in the middle of it all, how can anyone fall in love?
