I should have wore my seatbelt that day. 

I knew I should have.  

You know that small voice in the back of your head nagging you to do something? That annoyingly but always right voice that puts pits of guilt in your mind if you don't do what it says? It told me to put my seatbelt on but of course, like always I didn't listen to it... But, I should have. As I watch the tear stained cheeks of everyone that I care about and even some I don't, bury my now lifeless body, I regret it more then ever... 

Except him. He knows. He can see me. And he is determined more then ever to save me. He wants me to find peace. He even demands it, he wants to make me face my inner demons. 

After all, he is the very reason I was in the car in the first place.

The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

As I was writing, a large tatted hand covered my hand to stop me from writing. My heart jumped as so did I from my seat. My eyes were opened wide as I looked at the reason for my fright. He was right. I haven't eaten and now I was feeling hungry since he mentioned it. Without saying a word, I adjusted my notes and closed my notebook handing it to his waiting hand. Once he had it, he put it in my bookbag. He then slung it over his shoulder and motioned for me to follow him. Once I was by his side, he placed his huge hand on the small of my back and guided me out of the library. He opened the back door tossing my bookbag on the backseat. Then he opened the passenger seat lifting me by my waist and placing me on the seat. He then reached for the seatbelt and fastened it for me. He closed the door and finally sat on the drivers seat. "I can fasten the seatbelt on my own you know." He looked at me and smirked. "I know babe, but I insist to secure my woman." I rolled my eyes as he called me his woman.
