As I review things that I have written in the past, I am going to put them in this story to get feedback on what I wrote.  Hopefully, criticisms, positive and less-positive, encourage me to continue writing and finishing that project, or severely re-writing it. 

Each post will contain two parts. The first part (odd numbers) will be the actual first chapter I have written. The second part (even numbers) will be a blurb of what I was going for and hopefully a place to get feedback that I'll consider going forward. I will include the genre in parenthesis at the end of the title. 

Please indicate in either of the posts if you'd continue reading based on that first chapter. I want to see if I can keep the reader interested to get to the next chapter.

We were given the school year to write an original novella, and this is mine! I've grown really attached to the plot, but at my current writing skill, I don't think I could've properly gotten the point across in the time I was given.
