Juliet Lupus only has a few more months to live, at best. So she convinces her mom to move back to their hometown of Beacon Hills, California, where she grew up. The only downside - her friends don't know about the condition of her slowly deteriorating body.

Stiles Stilinski is excited his best friend is moving back home after so many years away, but she's nowhere near the same person she used to be. Her bubbly personality has completely changed over the last few years, and Stiles is determined to figure out why.

Neither expect the transformation to take place of their other best friend, Scott McCall, when he encounters a werewolf on the last night before Sophomore year begins. Juliet just wanted to spend her last few months with her friends and have a chance to explain what she's been going through. Now between Scott turning every full moon and discovering her own supernatural issues, will she have that chance? Only time will tell.
