On a dangerously stormy afternoon, Diana William's close friend Kaydi Skailand gets horrifically electrocuted by a zap of lightning. Diana thinks it is a casual misfortune of bad luck until it happens to her also. She doesn't realize the absolute terror she will have to face until the night of Kaydi's sleepover.
