Avielyn Woods is a 17 year old red haired bookworm who dreams about characters in fictional books, an avid reader who holds passion for fantasy at its finest. All her life she could never really understand how someone could be so in live until their breakup who she swears is not good for the heart.

Her parents are divorced, forcing her to live at their houses, changing every week to not lose their relationship with her, their only daughter. That is until she gained a scholarship for a prestigious boarding school that gives out both high school and university education systems, but very far from home.

There, she became a partner with one of the school's major heartthrob, in which she thinks is actually a weirdo who talks more about soulmates rather than what the average douchebags do.

She was fine with him being loud about his soulmate theories at first,

until he found out why she was so passionate with reading and how she always reads... for the dead and ghosts that she could see and talk to.

There goes her calm and peaceful life being blown away by a popular kid who asked her help to search for his old lover.
