A witch fled his home and is trying to live in the modern world of technology and children talking about wanting to kill themselves (that no one seems to be pointing out) with his small best friend. A warlock of some sort stumbles upon this witch trying to shower his cat in the thundering rain and they instantly become inseparable. They end up thrown into an investigation regarding magic that opens up a dangerous past coming for the future. The new life he was trying to pursue is not as safe as he thought.
