At the end of the battle with Gaea, right after Octavian shoots himself at the Earth Mother, Nico realizes his mistake. He realizes that he just allowed Leo to be shot down. He realized he was about to get one of the seven killed. In a desperate attempt to save him and possibly not be hated, he manages to knock Leo off of his flight path and into the ocean. But at the last moment before he crashes as well he's pulled into the shadows. I started writing my first fanfic story because I read a lot of fan fiction were the reader is "batmom" usually the storyline is about how she was this amazing hero who fights with the batfamily. Of course different artists have their own unique batmom. But somehow all of the batmoms that I have read didn't really have what I wanted so it just inspired me to write my own batmom.
