Wesley Frost was the guy everyone wanted to be - or so he thought. He was pinned as that all-round jock who was incapable of believing anyone else could be superior to his God-given abilities with a disregard for situations that didn't include a football, a mirror, Mila and his fans - in no particular order.
Amila Faiers, namely Mila, was the kind of girl who was content with everyone else, except herself. She was pinned as outrageously hard-working and extremely tolerant to put up with that of the half-breed humans she considered her friends with an indifference to situations that didn't include Wesley, homework, Netflix and books - the order is not important in this case.
Sebastian Rhys was easily provoked and the guy who you never approached, mainly because his identity was made up of rumours. He was pinned as a mystery to all, feared and admired by friends and enemies alike with an ignorance of situations that didn't include his motorcycle, Alexa, contact sports and films - the order differed depending on his temper fluctuations.
Alexa Everleigh had no interest in new classmates, old classmates and pretty much everyone else in between. She was pinned as notoriously rebellious and single-handedly able to destroy anyone who crossed her path with a lack of concern for situations that didn't include herself, food, her camera and Sebastian - in that particular order.
With the discovery of secrets and lies hidden by those considered to be loyal, they must decide how to keep their lives from falling into destruction. There is only one rule in battle: victory but this comes at a price that will either bring them together or tear them apart.
