Motionless in White
Turning away from her heated glare, I walk towards the front door. The only sound in the room was my heavy breathing and the sound of police sirens in the far distance. I reached for the handle and twisted it, but before I could do anything else, her voice broke the silence. "Where do you think you're going?" her emotionless words rang through my ears. "Get back here and explain yourself." My whole body tensed up, I made no move to exit the apartment. I stood at the door just looking at the floor. Just a few more steps and I'll be out of her life for good. I thought to myself quietly. The sound of her voice gave me an eery feeling. The feeling you get when your walking into a place you've never been before and know nothing about. Slowly, I turned my head and met her glare with one of my own, only mine was more deadly. At the sight of my expression, her faćed faltered just the slightest before returning to the same emotionless it was when I arrived. With my hand on the door, I countered back, "I stopped explaining myself once I realized that people only understand from their level of perception." And with my words still ringing throughout the room, I walked out the door and never looked back. The only sound being heard from the hallway was the sound of her yelling my name and her pleas for forgiveness. >><< Aiyana. Diesel. They were created for each other.

"You good, babe? You kinda seem a bit off today." "How so?" I asked, even though I knew the answer to that question. Damien answered, "Well you haven't been talking much, even when we were driving from the school and to your house, you've avoided eye contact with me, and you seem a bit nervous around me. I know you've been a bit sick last week, but I can't help but feel as if you're hiding something from me." I stared outside of my window as I sighed, "You're right, but I don't know how you'll react. I myself don't know how to react. I haven't told anyone." "About...?" Damien asked as he parked the car in front of a liquor store. I sighed, "Can we talk about this later?" Damien sighed before nodding and getting out the car. He then went into the liquor store and, after about ten minutes, came back with two bags with two bottles in each. He placed the bags in the trunk before getting in the driver's seat and staring at me. "What?" I asked shyly. "Are you pregnant?" Damien asked with a straight face while staring me into my eyes. I blushed, "What? Why would you think-" "Are you pregnant, City?" he asked again, and I looked away. *This story contains mature themes and contents. Read at your own risk*
