And Then There was Light

First, there was the pumping of music flowing through our veins, giving us energy to dance for hours.
After, there was the gunshots that brought fear.
Then, the pain.
Then the darkness.
And then there was light. Light that would have blinded me had it not been for him blocking most of it.
Him. The leader of this strange place, where the grass is purple and the trees are blue. Where the sky is pink and the clouds are red. Where there is only happiness.
