Morna swore when she gave up her life as an agent that she was never going back...

Well, so much for that promise.

Starting again was no easy task, but it seems like things are finally improving. While it has taken a year, Morna is finally making a name for herself as an arcane researcher for old fuddy-duddies with no patience. So isn't it just her luck that an old friend suddenly reappears, bringing with him a case that has the guild's agents stumped. It appears that there is a killer on the loose, one who is targeting witches.

With little evidence to go on, Morna is going to need to quickly turn her group of friends, including a troublesome canine, a human psychic, and a stoic agent, into a first class private-eye team.

However, before they can find their feet, it seems the killer has struck again, as another witch is found murdered. The stakes are raised even higher, as the guild looses one of their own. Morna is going to need her team to find the killer, and fast, before the guild decides to deal out its own justice.
