Finally, my brother is getting married. I'm happy for him, of course - it's an important moment, a new chapter in life, full of promises and celebrations. Everyone's excited, the preparations, the parties, the anticipation... it's almost contagious. The only problem is, I'm not really up for seeing Phil. I don't exactly know why, but it feels like there's this invisible wall between us. Still, I keep seeing him every day - because of family, routine, the place we live - but there's nothing there. No real conversations, no meaningful looks, just formal distance. We're stuck in this strange limbo, with the feeling that something got left unresolved.
