I asked, raising my head from her lap and looking straight in her face. "Don't you feel ashamed of being in love with a blind girl? Don't you think Blessing is better for you? Don't you get scared that your friends will mock you, What if everybody..."

She's blind, broken and angry at life. He's blind, optimistic and determined to show her that losing her vision isn't the end of the world.
