A year after Season 2, it's Thanksgiving at the Wheelers house; and Dustin, Lucas and Max find a retro board game called Stranger Realms. They soon get sucked into the game, becoming the characters they chose.
As they go on, however, they'll soon find out that there's a reason the game was never played again.
