Many people believe that dreams serve to fill subconscious wishes, that they are no more than some of your deepest or darkest desires. Hadley Jones was convinced that the tiger she envisioned every time she fell asleep was nothing more than her need to feel loved again. After so many years of being alone, all that she wanted was to have a powerful connection with something other than just memories.

To her surprise, her wish was not only fulfilled but it also came in the form of the very tiger she had been dreaming about. They create a bond unlike anything Hadley had ever experienced and for what seemed like the first time, she no longer felt alone. 
                 
But a war was brewing and the very world she had grown to love was about to be ripped apart. 'You've trespassed too long. Abandon your homes or forsake your lives.' The priest refused without hesitation and stared the ten-foot wolf down." Jake listened to the story with baited breath as he could see where the tale would go next.
